Where forced selling
outruns the book.

Cascade Risk will read how much size the market can absorb before it has to move, and mark the price bands where it is thin enough to matter.

What it will
not tell you.

  1. 01It is not built yet. Nothing on this page is a reading you can call today.
  2. 02When it ships it will describe where the book is thin, not predict that a cascade happens.
  3. 03Resting liquidity can be withdrawn faster than it can be measured, and the model will say so.

About this
model.

When can I use it?

Not yet. It is one of three models still in development, and it is listed that way everywhere on this site rather than being sold as available. The API returns nothing for it.

Will it predict liquidation cascades?

No. It is designed to describe where the market is thin relative to the size that may have to move through it. Whether that size actually moves is not something the book can tell you in advance.

What can I use in the meantime?

Leverage Stress reads the exposure side of the same question and is available today. It tells you how much is built up and on which side, without the depth half of the picture.

The other
five.

Not yet.
But not vague.

Three of the six are still being built. The three that are not answer today.
