What makes an alert unusual
Whale Alert v2 aggregates buying and selling for one wallet and outcome over 30 minutes. It compares retained net buying with the preceding 14 days of available history, using market-relative thresholds and the wallet’s own history when sufficient observations exist.
A large purchase alone does not qualify. Complete source coverage and sufficient market observations are required. Unusual position building does not verify smart-money identity, intent or profitability.

One publication history
The website and API read the same stored emissions, corrections and withdrawals. Historical snapshots show what had been published by the selected time. Later evidence cannot change an earlier snapshot.
